Million Alemu Legal Services

Million Alemu obtained his LLB from the Addis Ababa University in June 1997. He began his career as a Public Prosecutor for the Oromia Regional Government, where he had served as Senior Public Prosecutor and Instructor for the Region's junior judges and public prosecutors. In May of 1999, Million Alemu joined the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) as one of the Bank's members of the Legal Advisory Division. While at the CBE, Million Alemu had drafted complex contracts from inception to completion to effectively manage legal risks and safeguard the bank’s interest, while simultaneously providing legal advice and participating in key contract's negotiations on behalf of the bank.
While at the CBE, his work ethic and proven track record did not go unnoticed and he was soon promoted as Assistant Manager of the Debt Litigation Department of the Bank. Shortly thereafter, he joined the CBE’s Business Process Reengineering Project and was responsible for designing business processes aimed at transforming the CBE’s core competencies where he played a key and vital role. 
From December 2007 to June 2011 Million Alemu had served as the first Legal Counsellor to one the most prestigious bank in Ethiopia - Zemen Bank S.C. While working at Zemen Bank, Million Alemu provided legal and strategic advices vis-à-vis the National Bank of Ethiopia Regulations that safeguarded the bank’s assets and interest.
In June 2011, Million Alemu obtained his Advocacy Licenses from the Ministry of Justice of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and from the Justice Bureau of Oromia Regional Government. He is also one of the few registered Trademark Agents. Million Alemu now serves as an advocate on array of legal domains at all levels of the federal courts and at all levels of the Oromia Regional Courts in Ethiopia. He is also a member of Ethiopian Lawyers' Association. 
Million Alemu also obtained his B.Sc Degree in Economics and his MA in Business Leadership from his Alma Mater, Addis Ababa University, in 2006 and in 2022, respectively. 

Ms. Tsion Ewnetu, formerly Notary Officer at Documents Authentication and Registration Agency and an associate at law firm, has accured vast experience in drafting several contracts, preparing shareholders minutes and Memorandum and Articles of Association for various business organizations. Her area of expertise includes business and corporate laws, and conducting of legal due diligence. Tsion Ewnetu received her LLB from Addis Ababa University School of Law and also received her Advocacy License that enables her to work in all federal courts.
